Terms of Use

• Viora does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.
• Health Momentum is a score of your recent behaviour against goals you set. It is not a health score, a risk score, or a statement about your health.
• Estimates from photographs, trends and coach suggestions are approximations from the data available, not clinical measurements.
• The AI coach produces automated suggestions. It can be wrong, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, dietitian or any other qualified professional.

Consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing your diet, exercise or medication, and particularly if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, take prescribed medication, or have a history of disordered eating.

If you think you are having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. Do not use Viora for urgent medical matters.

You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Viora only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms.

Viora stores your health information on your device. What is stored, what leaves the device, and how to export or delete it are described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Keep your own backups. Viora writes weekly backups to your device and you can export your data at any time. We hold no copy of your information, so if you lose your device without a backup, we cannot recover anything for you.

Viora is free to use. Viora+ is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features, described in the app before you buy.

Billing. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple or Google through your store account, under their terms. We never receive your payment details.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.

Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Uninstalling Viora does not cancel a subscription.

Price. The price shown in the app at the time of purchase applies. We may change prices for future periods; where the store requires it you will be notified and asked to consent before a changed price takes effect.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, not by us.

Free features stay free. Features available without a subscription at the time you install will not later be moved behind Viora+.

Do not:

• use Viora for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to circumvent subscription controls or access paid features without paying;
• reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded;
• use Viora to provide medical, dietary or clinical services to other people.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of Viora, including features of Viora+. If we discontinue a paid feature during a period you have paid for, you may request a pro-rata refund through the relevant store.

Viora depends on services we do not control — Apple Health, Health Connect, the app stores, and our AI provider. Interruptions to those services may interrupt parts of Viora.

Viora is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and any warranty that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any figure it produces is accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Viora. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or RM 200.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and you may have rights under consumer law that these terms cannot override.

If you obtained Viora from the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Viora or for support of it, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms with the right to enforce them against you. Equivalent terms apply to Google Play.

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to bring proceedings where you live.

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and material changes will be shown in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Viora after that means you accept the updated terms.
