Privacy Policy

Viora is a body health and waist coaching app published by Cortex Solution (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what Viora does with your information.
The short version: your health data is stored on your phone. There is no Viora account and no Viora server holding a copy of it. Two things leave your device, both only when you start them, and both are described below.
1. What Viora stores, and where
Viora keeps the following in a database on your device:
- Body measurements — weight, waist, body fat, height
- Daily activity — steps, distance, active energy, flights climbed
- Sleep duration and stages
- Workouts and strength sessions
- Meals, water and nutrition you log
- Progress photos you take
- Your goals, targets, units and app preferences
- Your conversations with the coach
None of this is uploaded in the background. We do not operate a server that receives it, and we cannot see it.
Your phone's own backup. Your device's operating system may include Viora's data in its normal backup — iCloud Backup on iOS, Android Backup on Android. That backup is between you and Apple or Google and is governed by their policies, not ours. Viora also writes a weekly backup file into its own folder on your device, which is included in that same OS backup.
2. Health data from Apple Health and Health Connect
With your permission, Viora reads from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android). You choose each category separately and refusing any of them leaves the app working.
If you turn on “Save what I log back”, Viora also writes the meals, water, weight and workouts you enter in Viora back to Apple Health or Health Connect, so other apps can see them. This is off unless you turn it on.
Health data is never used for advertising, and never sold or shared with data brokers. Apple and Google both prohibit this, and Viora contains no advertising of any kind.
3. What leaves your device
Exactly two things leave, and neither happens unless you start it.
a. Asking the AI coach a question. When you send the coach a message, Viora transmits your question together with a small set of derived figures — for example your step average for the week, your weight trend over a month, your current Momentum score. It does not transmit your raw health records, your measurement history, or your logs.
b. Estimating a meal from a photo. If you use photo estimation, that photograph is transmitted so the model can identify the food in it. Viora asks for your agreement the first time and remembers your answer. You can use manual meal entry instead, which transmits nothing.
Who receives it. Both go to our AI provider, which in the current release is OpenAI. They process the request and return a response. We send no name, no email address, no device identifier and no account, because Viora has no accounts — the provider receives the numbers or the photograph and nothing that identifies you.
OpenAI's handling of API data is governed by their own terms, currently at openai.com/policies. If we change provider, this policy will be updated before the change ships.
Your progress photos are never transmitted. They are a separate feature from meal estimation and stay on your device.
4. What Viora does not do
- No advertising, ad networks or advertising identifiers
- No analytics or crash-reporting service
- No tracking across apps or websites
- No selling or renting of any information
- No accounts, logins or profiles on our systems
5. Subscriptions
Viora+ is sold through the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details. The store tells the app whether a subscription is active; it does not give us your card, your address or your purchase history beyond that.
6. Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays on your device until you delete it.
Export my data writes everything to a file you keep and can share wherever you choose. Delete my data permanently removes every record and every progress photo from the device.
Deleting the app removes its data with it. Because we hold nothing, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf — and no request you need to make to us to have it done.
Information already sent to the AI provider under section 3 is subject to their retention policy, not ours.
7. Children
Viora is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, export or erase personal data held about you. Because Viora holds your data on your own device, the Export and Delete features give you all of these directly and immediately. If you need anything further, contact us below.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here and the date at the top will change. Material changes to what leaves your device will be described in the app before they take effect.
