Mochi Hatch is a game for children, so this agreement is with you, the parent or guardian who installs it. It is short, because almost everything terms usually govern — accounts, payments, services — does not exist in this game.
What you are getting
A licence to install and play Mochi Hatch on your own devices. The game remains ours; your child's pets, room and garden are theirs to keep on your device.
You may not resell the game, present it as your own, or take it apart to build a competing product from it.
The coins are pretend, and stay pretend
Coins and stars in Mochi Hatch are fictional. They are earned only by playing, cannot be bought, and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or converted into anything with real-world value. They are not property, and they have no cash value.
There are no in-app purchases and no real-money transactions of any kind. If a future version were ever to change that, these terms and the privacy policy would change first, visibly.
No account, and no recovery
There is nothing to sign into and no server behind the game. Progress is saved to one file on the device it is played on.
If the device is lost or reset, or the app is uninstalled, the pets and progress are gone permanently. We cannot restore them, because no copy exists anywhere else.
Provided as it is
Mochi Hatch is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Cortex Solution is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the game — including lost progress. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or removes rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
Mochi Hatch is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google or Microsoft.
Changes
We may update these terms as the game changes. The date at the top moves whenever they do, and continuing to play after a change means accepting it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have non-exclusive jurisdiction. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country in which you live.
